Hi, I’m Marc Sigrist. I design and develop functional and object-oriented software solutions in the wider context of .NET (Core), for the cloud or on-premise. I value proper understanding of business requirements and clean code and consider pragmatism to be the best best practice.
I have worked for large corporations and SMEs alike, mostly in Switzerland, but also in other European countries and the U.S. Projects have been related to banking, trading, life and health insurance, managed healthcare, hospital, laboratory equipment, automotive industry, building technology, online marketing, ad brokerage, newspaper publishing, print, document management/archiving and project management.
Besides being a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, I also have a master’s in economics and business administration (University of Basel) and a diploma as publishing professional (SAWI). My native country is Switzerland. I speak German, English and French.
